Peter Max Takes Readers into His Universe in New Book

Peter Max, iconic pop artist and Park West Gallery favorite, recently released “The Universe of Peter Max,” a new art book and memoir published by Harper Design. The book features 200 color photos of Max’s artwork, including some works never before seen by the public.

In this book, Max gives readers a personal look at his life of wonder – from childhood to today – in art and in words.

“My life’s journey has been an odyssey through time and space, filled with vivid moments, abundant with color, dazzling with sights, and vibrant with euphonic sounds. These moments collectively create my story, not only of who I was but also of who I was to become – an artist living in New York City, where I have been fortunate to reach a global audience with my art and philosophy.”

The book debuted Nov. 19, when Max met with fans for a book signing event in New York City.
