Tim Yanke – Keeping the spirit of the West alive

Tim Yanke opens up with details of his inspired life as an artist in an interview this week with the Observer and Eccentric. He talks about making the leap out of the cubicle and into the studio and why he’s passionate about capturing the essence of the American West with paint.

“What I have to offer the world is my visual DNA,” he said. “I’m not painting for mass affirmation – as a collector and an artist, it suits everyone much better when you’re not concerned about the market.”
