Sweet Combo! Romero Britto Partners with Dylan’s Candy Bar
NEW YORK — Internationally renowned Brazilian artist Romero Britto has teamed up with Dylan’s Candy Bar to create a new line of goodies using Britto’s signature pop-art themes and vibrant color palette — Park West Gallery agrees that’s a pretty sweet combo!
If you’ve been to NYC lately, you’ve probably seen or at least heard about Dylan’s Candy Bar, founded and owned by Dylan Lauren, the daughter of designer Ralph Lauren. The popular candy store, it’s more like a candy wonderland really, is becoming a NY tourist attraction. Dylan’s says their new Britto line will offer everything from apparel to tote bags, and even candy.
“I am continuously inspired by art reflecting the celebration of the simple and good things in life,” Britto said. “That’s why I’m excited to partner with Dylan’s Candy Bar to fuse the two ideas together, art and sweetness.”
For those of you looking for ways to celebrate (an early) Valentine’s Day, Dylan’s Candy Bar is inviting the public to a VIP event on Wednesday, Feb. 10, to celebrate the launch of their new line and collaboration with Romero Britto.
