Park West supports healthy lifestyle event

Park West Gallery is a sponsor of this year’s HealthPlus Brooksie Way Half Marathon Sept. 28. It’s a premier quality of life event in Oakland County, Michigan.

County Executive L. Brooks Patterson began the Brooksie Way races to promote the county and encourage people to become more physically active. The event includes a half marathon, 10K and 5K courses, a kids’ race and a health expo.

Race proceeds support programs that encourage a healthy and active lifestyle. Brooksie Way grants have put more than $50,000 back into Oakland County communities, touching thousands of lives along the way. The Brooksie Way is a 501(c)(3) non-profit formed in 2011.
