Park West Gallery Hosts Women In Communications Seminar
On August 11, Park West Gallery hosted a writing workshop for the professional organization Association for Women in Communications Detroit Chapter. The event featured Susan Shapiro, professional writer and author.
Ms. Shapiro shared her “top ten” things not to do when trying to get published. The list, while presented in a humorous and entertaining manner, was full of great advice for writers looking to get published in magazines and mainstream media outlets.
Each attendee also received a copy of Ms. Shapiro’s new comic novel, Overexposed.
