Park West Foundation receives Child Advocate Organization of the Year Award

On November 13, Park West Foundation was honored to receive the Child Advocate Organization of the Year Award at the Child’s Hope annual meeting held at The Henry Hotel in Dearborn, Michigan.  Presentations highlighted Child’s Hope events, programs and achievements during the past year and featured the presentation of Child Advocate of the Year Award to Lacea Zavala and Child Advocate Organization of the Year to Park West Foundation.

Child’s Hope provides a central voice for the prevention of child abuse and neglect in Wayne County, building collaborations and programs that enable children, families and caregivers to break the cycle of abuse. The Park West Foundation works hard to provide education, counseling, and support to children who are ageing out of the foster care system.

Park West Foundation was formed in 2006, by Park West Gallery founders Albert and Mitsie Scaglione. Its mission is to support organizations committed to strengthening positive values and leadership, and offering creative and lasting solutions for youth locally, nationally and globally.
