Duaiv paints on canvas onboard
Enjoy this look at Duaiv as he paints onboard a cruise where he was a featured artist for a Park West Gallery private event. The painter brings with him a crate filled with supplies so he can continue to create even while away from his studio. Although he was sailing to Alaska, he said at his easel that day he was watching sailboats off the shore of Tuscany.
Duaiv says creating smaller works is at times more challenging than larger pieces where he has more freedom of movement. Duaiv uses a signature color palette of oil paints. He paints primarily using a palette knife for most of his works, which are colorful and vibrant – like the painter himself.
