Art Auctioneer Calls Charity Auction
The Art Auctioneers running the Park West Gallery Cruise Art Auctions are known not only for their passion for finding the perfect artworks to fit into collections the world over but also for their passion for giving back. Our auctioneers are involved in philanthropic efforts around the globe such as the one discussed below. Thank you Lane for providing your services to the First Christian Church of Wilton Manors!
Lane Conner, Art Auctioneer, recently called an auction for the First Christian Church of Wilton Manors. The auction, which was held in the church parking lot, lasted from 9:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. on April 24. Nearly $13,000 was raised during the event. The funds raised will benefit Hope Women’s Shelter in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Wycliffe Bible Translators as well as a prison ministry and orphans in Romania.
When asked about the First Christian Church of Wilton Manors auction, Lane said, “When I heard about this event I thought to myself what a great way to help out and pay it forward! When I met the organizers I was humbled by how much they really cared about the causes for which they were raising money. I was even more humbled when I saw the actual event and the number of people that showed up to make it a success. Lots of people took an entire day out of their busy schedules to give back to those that are less fortunate for no other reason than it being the right thing to do. I look forward to doing it again next year!”
