Agam-inspired penthouse in Australia
Architecture and Design Australia today features a story of a Sydney-based furniture and housewares retailer who has dramatically transformed an inner-city Sydney three-bedroom penthouse with the idea of bringing the outside inside. Her inspiration? The kinetic art of Yaacov Agam.
The 10 story building is located on a narrow wedge shaped island site. It is inspired by the work of internationally-renowned Israeli artist Yaacov Agam, founder of the post-war kinetic art movement and creator of ground-breaking sculptures, paintings and architecture.
