Park West Gallery’s Philanthropic Initiatives Reach Local Community in Missouri

Park West Gallery CARES program donates twenty works of fine art to the City of Clayton

CLAYTON, MO — Clayton’s Parks and Recreation Department received word that Park West Gallery of Southfield, Michigan would donate twenty works by artists represented by the gallery to the City of Clayton. The donation was made through Park West Gallery CARES, an initiative designed to donate artwork to schools, communities and other non-profit organizations.

park west gallery cares, clayton, missouriPark West Gallery has held art auctions in Clayton in the past and held one at the Ritz-Carlton in Clayton this past weekend. The City received the works, worth approximately $20,000, over the weekend.

The City is authorized to use the works as it sees fit. Some may be displayed in City facilities. Works not designated for display will be given to the Clayton Century Foundation for fundraising.

The Clayton Century Foundation (CCF) is a public-private partnership that serves as an umbrella nonprofit community organization. The CCF was established to privately finance long-term capital projects and to develop projects in preparation for the 100th anniversary celebration of the City of Clayton in 2013.
