Duaiv artwork featured on Coconut Grove Arts Festival poster
Park West Gallery artist Duaiv is a guest of honor for the 52nd Annual Coconut Grove Arts Festival in Florida, held February 14-16.
Duaiv’s artwork, “Voilier,” was selected to be the official poster art for the 2015 festival. The French artist’s colorful and bright style shines forth in the work, which depicts multiple sailboats gliding across reflective waters. Duaiv used a palate knife to create the artwork, the title of which is French for “sailboat.”
Not only is Duaiv’s artwork featured on the poster, but his famous wrapped vehicles will be on display. Attendees can check out a Ferrari FF and BMW K1300S and Ducati Superleggera motorcycles at the Sonesta Coconut Grove Hotel, all of which have colorful, customized wraps by Duaiv.
The artist is scheduled to appear on NBC 6 on February 13 at 7 p.m.
Considered one of the most popular outdoor fine arts exhibitions, the Coconut Grove Arts Festival will feature artists from all over the U.S. and Canada. For more information, visit www.cgaf.com.
Duaiv is no stranger to painting for events. He has painted for the Salon de la Gastronomie at the Palais des Festivals as well as for the 15th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival. The latter project saw Duaiv designing the sides of two buses with the landscape of the area and faces of famous film stars.
He has exhibited all over the world, including France, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, the United States and Australia.
